For your viewing we have this vintage charcoal sketch portrait of an old woman in a headscarf. The sketch is unsigned but when you shine a light up to this sketch you can see a water make from the famous paper makes J.Whatman 1891 which could make this sketch around 130 years old. The lower half of this sketch has not been finished but the top half has been beautifully executed to showcase the talent of the artist.
Condition
This piece shows natural signs of ageing which adds to its character. There is some water staining to the original white inner paper frame borders but this can be changed if requested.
The paper shows edge tears/wear but does not interfere with this lovely portrait. Unfortunately, this sketch is unsigned.
