Up for your consideration is a vintage print entitled 'Tempted but shy' The original painting dates back to 1910, the victorian era by G.G.Kilburne, R.I. and was created for the Pears soap collection. The print shows a young girl being presented to two older gentlemen sat at a table by a woman, presumably her mother, who then presents the young girl with an orange. You will find to the left corner of the print the Pears logo. This print was one of the three plates presented in1910 and comes in a wonderful gold moulded frame. Lovely piece for the collector.
This print is a reproduction but not all reproductions are created with the same providence and value. This particular print is an affordable alternative to the original lithographs that run into their 100's if not 1,000's for collecting and decorative purposes.
Condition
This piece is in excellent condition, shows very little signs of natural ageing.
