For your viewing we have these superb copper engravings of classical vases drawn and engraved by Henry Moses 1782-1870. Henry Moses was one of the master engravers of the English school at the beginning of the 19th century. Moses was also one of the official engravers working on a publication of the British Museums. He was renowned for capturing the beauty and elegance of these ancient vases and was even able to put a sheen on them through his meticulous engraving work. These beautifully intricate renderings capture the artefacts simplicity and their manmade grace of form. The prints are encased in their stunning glass faced frames which feature authentic white thick-stock, outer border over a fine white paper backing; to the outside the frame consists of a black ribbed, gold trim and red/gold ribbons to the centre of each side. These superbly finished prints capture the renaissance of that time.
