For your consideration we have this vintage print entitled To The Death; A Sword and Dagger Fight. This amazing dramatic print dates back to 1905 and holds a Burlington artist proof stamp to the front lower left and a signature to the right by the Scottish painter John Pettie, R.A.1839-1893. This print shows two swordsmen in 17th century regalia engaged in deadly dawn combat. The original painting was finished in 1877 under the entitled 'Sword and Dagger Fight'. This particular print is encased in its original dark oak frame with a gold band surround which give it a certain period charm. On the right wall this print would make the most impressive eye-catching enchanting piece.
