For you viewing we have an antique brass birdcage, circa 1900s France. This vintage piece is crafted from quality thick antique brass wire in its original patina. The cage also features a single slide up and down door, the original wooden brass perch and a solid brass base which can be removed for cleaning if necessary. This period item is hung by it's wooden gallery that features at the top end of this dome shape cage. The cage would be a popular prop for a shop display or used within an eccentric interior project. An adorable period piece that can easily be diverted from its primary function to become a decorative object in any interior.
Condition
This piece is in excellent antique condition for it's age. There is wear due ageing and use. It has been cleaned but unpolished to hold it's original patina.
Overall it is in fantastic shape and ready to add to both commercial and home interiors. This piece would add character to your period, or eccentric interior design!
