Up for you consideration is this versatile studio artist's easel early 20th century, crafted for C. ROBERTSON & Co LTD. These vintage easels were designed to assist the ambitious artist in holding a broad range of canvas sizes, circa 1930. These items were basically crafted using solid English beech with fine grain interest held together with vintage engineered adjustable mechanisms to the upper reacher and the horizontal cross member to form the standing trio legs, that united in a V shape to accommodate the artist's choice of canvases. This particular easel shows it's decades of use with a desirable aged patina colourful paint residue which adds both history and character to this fantastic piece! An amazing vintage piece that still has its solid joints and is ready for use in both commercial and home studio and would add a huge amount of character to any interior!
The picture stand can be raised and lowered according to the requirements and the top section can also be adjusted to suit frame sizes
Condition
This piece is in excellent condition for it's age. It still has an extremely solid structure with some splatters of oil paint which gives the stand its authentic used look.
Overall this piece is in fantastic shape and ready to add to both commercial and home interiors. This versatile piece would add a huge amount of character to any interior!
