For your viewing we have this antique Aesthetic Movement side chair. This hornist little chair dates back to the early 19th century, a no frills piece of craftsmanship that features an open back with a parish style centre rail leading down to its thinly padded seat covered in its original brightly coloured yellow cloth fabric and lace. With stud-work to pin down the its ageing fabric and thinly turned legs, straight twig like stretchers that pulls this chair's main frame together. To make this piece even more basic the chair has a pine wood finish that adds a certain allure to this period piece. An impressive example of classic Parish design and craftsmanship. A lovely hornist piece of history to finish that hallway or living room space.
