For your viewing we have an antique prie dieu chair dating back to the early Victorian period, circa 1850. It's iconic high back crafted from rosewood leads into it's elegantly calved front legs. All four legs ride upon their original brass castors which enhances this period piece of furniture. With whats left of its original red shabby upholstery this chair could be used as a project item or an eye catching piece of furniture for that photo shot or interior design piece.
Condition
This piece is in vintage condition with signs of previous use, brass casters are completely stable and void of breaks, wobbles, repairs etc. The framework is in good solid condition but the upholstery will need an overhaul or used as a decorative studio photographic set item.
Overall this chair is a beautiful, fantastic piece no matter what you do with it.
