For your viewing is this vintage Danish velvet dining chair in the style of Hvidt & Mølgaard circa 1960's, Here we have a simple but irresistible Danish single standing dining chair. The chair comes in a basic contemporary wooden structure which is overlaid in a dark purple coloured velvet fabric to the back rest and padded cushion seat. To help pull the dark wooden structure away from its dark fabric a stud work surround is added to give the chair that regal presence. The chair's main attributes are its high fashioned armrests, that give this chair it's glamorous stylish allure. This chair is a small statement piece and would add plenty of charm to that living space.

Hvidt & Mølgaard was a Copenhagen-based, Danish design and architectural firm which existed from 1944 until 2009. Founded by Peter Hvidt (1916-1986) and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen (1907-1993), the company was a pioneering force in Danish furniture design and industrialized production in the 1950s, creating furniture that was easy to mass-produce and economic to transport.
Condition
This piece is in vintage condition with signs of previous use, completely stable and void of breaks, wobbles, repairs etc....padding is plush/cushy and void of odours; the covering has some small markings and minimal nap wear, scrapes and scratches.
Overall this glamorous chair is in fantastic condition for it's age ready to add to both commercial displays or home interiors.
