Here we have for your viewing an Aesthetic Movement Ottoman on turned legs. This gorgeous victorian piece was a very special find dating back to the late 19th century This Ottoman is still in its original yellow/orange coloured upholstery to it's lift up padded seat that reveals its storage compartment which once probably stored music sheets from the time. The front face is deeply engraved with a circular floral pattern which then sits on its four elegant black ebonised turned legs pulled together with beautifully turned cross members that compliments this lovely piece of furniture. This elegant piece depicts the day of true craftsmanship from days gone by.
Condition
This piece is in vintage condition with signs of previous use, knocks, scrapes and scratches with light surface paint loss.There are a few marks and cracks in keeping with the age but this all add to the character of this piece.
Overall this piece is in functional solid order and in fantastic period condition for it's age, ready to add to both commercial displays or home interiors use.
