For your consideration we have this Antique mahogany Demilune Bow Front Console cabinet. This piece has an exceptionally well figured body that features two large full faced drawers with elegantly displayed geometric gold inlays. The drawers hold their originally oval brass plated handles that features a rope twist moulding puller lever. Inside the drawers are two wooden removable dividers which could have been used to separate the silver wear from the crockery. The unit is raised on four long thin legs with gold inlay strips to both sides. This piece of furniture may have been a two part display cabinet but over all this item is still very desirable as a single piece of furniture.
Condition
This piece is in excellent condition for it's age. It still has an extremely solid structure no vital damage to body work, some slight staining to outer woodwork, slight chips and cracks but this is due to the ageing of this piece of vintage furniture.
Overall this chest of drawers is in good condition and is sure to remain an integral part of your furniture collection for generations to come!
