Here we have a rare pair of Westminster Bank Leather Delivery Cash Bags. These bags probably date back to the late Victorian era 19th to early 20th century. Both bags have a Gladstone metal frame that opens to the top with a brass name plate riveted to the opener. These impressive items have the original Westminster Limited embossed to the front face of the bags and to the upper front you will find a brass escutcheon plate that features a double lock case and a single lock case on the tan leather bag. You will also find the CHUBB LONDON logo engraved to the lock face with its back serial number. These Items are steeped in history and would make an interesting collectors piece.
Condition
The bags are unopened and I have no keys so I have no way of telling if the bags have any contents.
The both bags have cosmetic ware and tear to the leather covering with rust to the bear metal and some of the stitching have become loose, but otherwise in excellent condition.
