We have for your viewing a large 1940s illuminated iconic designed WELCOME Sign. The inner structure is made from a wooden frame, overlaid with a blue acrylic sheeting to the top front face and sides and the dramatic retro font work is made from an off white vinyl cut to shape to make up the elegant lettering. This item world bring a certain allure to that bar restaurant, shop front, workspace or that Man or Lady Cave, your can decide.
The mains powered lights are quality lights from a trusted supplier. They are 240V 10W. with approximately 2 metres of black cabling with an on off switch.
Condition
This Item is made from a thin PVC material and has it's vintage damages, which adds to it's vintage look, but it's generally in good working condition.
Theres no makers mark on this piece but it may have well belonged to a shop welcoming it customers into the store. Whatever it was design for it is a truly unique piece. The sign has been re-wired with a new lamp holder unit and four new lamps as the original units no longer comply to relevant standards.
