For your viewing we have an exquisite small Sutherland mahogany drop leaf table circa, 1900 This fine quality Edwardian mahogany antique table has been elegantly crafted with two drop leaves which are attractively supported by their finely turned legs with the original small castors. The Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain and a natural ageing patina. A fine example of vintage craftsmanship that would occupies a small space when the leaves drop-down which is the main concept of these outstanding Sutherland tables. An adaptable space saving piece of elegant design for that compact living space.
Condition
This lovely table is in excellent condition for it's age. It still has an extremely solid structure, with some signs of ageing as per picture.
Overall the table is in fantastic shape but has the usual ageing marks and scrapes in certain places. With all this in mind the table is ready to add to both commercial and home interiors. This period piece would add a huge amount of character to any interior!
