Here we have a pair of large crafted African wall masks, King & Queen Gods of Nature. These items are crafted using wood resin, copper and coloured beading. The face work shows carvings of turtles to the cheeks and carved moths to the forehead of both sculptures. The turtle depicts the creation of life within the sea and the moth represents the gentle side of Mother Earth. Nothing makes a statement better than these large African sculptures and are widely collected all round the world.
Condition
These pieces are in excellent condition for their age. Overall they are in fantastic shape and ready to add to both commercial and home interiors. They would add a huge amount of character to any interior!
