Here we have for your viewing a Minolta Retro ‘Mini’ folding slide projector made in Japan, c.1950s. This retro piece was made with an aluminium case coated with a light brown hammerite spray paint finish that could have only worked in the 1950s. With a push of a button the carcass smoothly opens up and the sliding film holder fits in front of the lamp in which the projector can project multiple slides. When finished the projector folds neatly back into its aluminium case ready to be stored away for another day. This is a gorgeous piece of retro tech, one for the collector or as a side decorative show piece.
The lens is in good condition with no scratches, haze, or fungus on the glass elements. All mechanisms click and actuate with mechanical precision. The slides are easily loaded manually via the included slide holder but this is missing from this item and it has no vinyl case. This projector is fully functional, tested, cleaned, and ready to use.
