For your viewing we have this Vintage Chinon Master Super 8 movie camera. This retro style little camera was made by the company Chinon of Japan, probably in the early 1960's. The camera uses 8mm film (double 8mm )which can shoot at 12, 18 and 24 frames per second. Other features include a shutter lock, which means the person shooting the film can also take part in the filming if the camera was placed on a tripod. The body is metal cast and painted in a cream and black colour and runs off a battery powered motor, which takes 4 x AA batteries. These cameras are becoming decorative items and will fill that retro space on the shelf or tripod stand.
Condition
This camera has not been tested and no film has been tested in it either. But overall this vintage camera is in great condition with only a few small marks, and some light surface rust on the bare metal bits. We advise to use it as a display piece only as we are not sure if this item is in good working order.
