For your viewing we have a pair of vintage binoculars. These binoculars are encased in a brown leather covering with the usual adjustable controls between the lens casing. The lenses are very low-powered, which would suggest that these binoculars are more suitable for the opera, hiking or bird-watching. A lovely antique item, we suggest the mantelpiece or a collection cabinet would be the best place for them.
One of the leather sleeves has come loose and is torn but shouldn't be too hard to glue back and we think this adds to the items patina. There are some signs of age but that goes with the character of the item.
