Pour votre visualisation, nous avons cette collection d'estampes vintage de Richard Barrett Davis. Davis était un peintre animalier et paysagiste né à Watford en 1782. Il a étudié auprès de William Evans d'Eton, William Beechey et dans les écoles de la Royal Academy où il a exposé pour la première fois en 1802. Il a ensuite rejoint la Society of British Artists en 1829, et a été nommé peintre animalier de Guillaume IV en 1831. Davis est décédé en 1854. Cette collection se concentre de façon spectaculaire sur le mode de vie de la classe supérieure à la campagne qui était fortement basé sur la chasse au gibier. Ces estampes illustrent ces moments et présentent le sport à son apogée. La 1ère lithographie est intitulée "Grouse Shooting August". Le 2ème s'appelle 'Partridge Shooting September'. Le 3ème est « Octobre de chasse aux faisans ». Le 4e s'intitule 'Snip Shooting November'. Le 5e s'intitule « Woodcock Shooting November » et le dernier de cette collection s'intitule « Waterfowl shooting January ». Ces six gravures s'articulent autour de la chasse annuelle tout au long des mois de l'année. Six autres tirages de tir d'animaux sont disponibles à ajouter à cette collection, ce qui pourrait être un bon début pour trouver les six autres tirages pour faire cette collection complète.

These prints are vintage etchings, aquatint and hand-coloured reproductions but are created with the same providence and value.
The prints are not a modern or digital reproduction using modern technology; they are not widely or infinitely available nor can any more be produced.
As such, these are an affordable alternative to the original lithographs for collecting and decorative purposes.
The prints come in their original frames and shows natural signs of ageing which add to their character. There's some staining to the original white inner paper frame borders.
