Aquí, para su visualización, tenemos esta icónica lámpara de escritorio 1001 Luxo del diseñador noruego Jac Jacobson. En 1937, Jacobson desarrolló la lámpara Luxo-L1 y son, con mucho, las lámparas de arquitectura de primavera más conocidas de todos los tiempos. Hoy en día, estas lámparas forman parte de varias exposiciones en museos de todo el mundo, ya que la lámpara se ve como un ejemplo de diseño de lámpara clásico. La lámpara que tenemos aquí es un modelo raro en su original esmalte oscuro negro, ligeramente rugoso en los bordes, con su adhesivo 1001 de Bromley original todavía in situ. Tiene todos sus resortes originales, tornillos de apriete y todos sus brazos mecánicos ajustables están en perfecto estado de funcionamiento. Todo lo anterior se asienta sobre una base circular sólida de alta resistencia con fieltro en la parte inferior que ayuda a proteger la superficie de trabajo del escritorio. Esta base resistente (4 kg +) fue diseñada para permitir que la lámpara realice su movimiento funcional, pero también ayuda con su elegante diseño industrial; muy bien hecho.
This Anglepoise lamp was made by Thousand and One Lamps Ltd. 108 Bromley Road, London but sadly this company is no longer trading.
This particular model has US Patent PN/2787434 Norway which is extremely rare.
Condition
This lamp is in great vintage condition with only a few small marks, and some light surface rust on the bare metal bits, but generally very good. It is complete with the original two core flex and push button switch in the back of the shade/reflector.
Overall this this iconic lamp is in full functional order and in fantastic condition ready to add to any commercial display or home interiors layout.
