Para su visualización, tenemos esta antigua espada corta Mandingo tribal de África Occidental. Esta pieza elaborada y seductora se formó alrededor de 1890-1900. Tiene una hoja forjada a mano dramáticamente que está ligeramente curvada y pulida con un mango de madera maciza cubierta con cuero marrón rojizo con pátina pintada a mano. La hoja se sostiene en su vaina bellamente hecha que está totalmente cubierta con cuero decorado de color marrón rojizo con todas sus costuras aún intactas. La vaina presenta botones circulares de cuero y dos largos trozos de cuero decorado cubiertos con estampados estampados y una sola borla grande se balancea desde el centro de la funda de la vaina. Una espada tribal islámica antigua muy atractiva y decorativa hecha a mano de Senegal o Sudán.
Condition
It’s missing one of the large buttons and one of the leather pieces is torn off and separated.
The metal at the end of the scabbard is bent and the blade has some rust. There are other various areas of wear.
