Mit ihrem superikonischen Industriedesign ist die Lampe von der Basis bis zum Tulpenpendelschirm in tiefschwarzer Emaille lackiert. Die Hauptstruktur der Lampe sitzt auf einem erhöhten, schweren zweistufigen Sockel mit der Originalverkabelung und dem Druckknopfschalter an der Oberseite des Schirms. Ein Schlüsselmerkmal dieses ikonischen Designs und Patents ist die Platzierung der Lampenfedern in diesem Fall, eine Grillenstumpfkonfiguration, drei Federn über die Basisstruktur. Es gibt keine cremefarbenen Nylon-Abstandshalter (wie beim Modell 90) und eine Halterung zur Befestigung des Schirms kennzeichnen dies als die superikonische Version, die in den 1930er Jahren von George Carwardine entworfen und von Herbert Terry & Sons, Redditch, England, zwischen den späten 1930er Jahren bis in die 1960er Jahre hergestellt wurde ultimative klassische 1227 verstellbare Schreibtischlampe, ein wunderschönes Stück Ingenieurskunst und eine Freude zu verwenden.
Condition
This piece is in vintage condition with signs of previous use, knocks, scrapes and scratches with light surface paint loss and slight rusting to its springs which only enhance this lamps vintage appeal.
Overall this this iconic lamp is in full functional order and in fantastic condition ready to add to any commercial display or home interiors layout.
