We are please to have this vintage Lounge Chair in the iconic style of Neil Morris, Glasgow UK. Circa 1950's. A lovely little lounge chair, a slice of classic minimalist design styling a very imaginatively piece of furniture that looks great from all angles. This chairs has been crafted from a solid mahogany and upholstered in a floral pale light fabric in its basic form. Morris designed these chairs with strong sharp lines but they were made not only for their looks but also designed for comfortable entertaining occasions. Even today collectors seek these valued and exceptional designed chairs and they could still hold their own in todays modern living space.

The Morris design became so desired that in 1947 he became the favoured supplier for the Royal family and was commissioned to design and fit special projects for the Queen and Prince Philip.
Condition
This rare chair is in vintage condition with signs of previous use, completely stable and void of breaks, wobbles, repairs etc....padding is plush / cushy and void of odours; the covering has some small markings and minimal ageing wear and tear. With vintage furniture there is some scrapes and scratches but overall the chair is in fantastic condition for it's age ready to add to both commercial displays or home interiors.
