Here we have a pair of original period Art Nouveau brass door plates. The design is classic Art Nouveau with its sinuous organic flowers growing up the length of the plate and there is a nod to the Arts & Crafts movement with the planished or hammered elements of the plant and the rim that goes all the way round the plate. Each one is pierced with six holes to allow them to be screwed to a door. They are perfectly usable today and would look stunning in a home or building of the Art Nouveau era.
Condition
They are in good period condition with some signs of wear and a lovely patina to the brass that is only acquired after many years of use and cleaning.
This piece is in excellent condition for it's age.
General structure has faded.
Overall this piece is in period condition and ready to add to both commercial or any home interiors use.
